Call for papers Robocup 2024
League committee members, as well as teams or individuals from RoboCup leagues participating in the Symposium, are invited to submit their proposals. The organizers of a satellite event are free to propose events between 2 and 8 hours in length to be held during or a day after the RoboCup Symposium (17 or 18 July) in a fully virtual, hybrid, or fully local format. We invite you to organize a satellite event for the 25th RoboCup International Symposium, which will be held on 17 July 2022, in conjunction with RoboCup 2022 (11 July to 17 July 2022) in a hybrid setting.
The RoboCup symposium is an annual event in which innovative, original research with relevance to areas of robotics and artificial intelligence is presented. Apart from this, the organizers are responsible for organizing their event independent of the RoboCup Symposium. The team video is used by the OC to determine the readiness of a teamto compete effectively and is part of the criteria in ranking teams inthe qualification process. Teams are advised to submit a video that best demonstrates the readiness of the team to compete in an international competition. Proposals will be evaluated by the Symposium Program Co-Chairs based on their thematic relevance to the RoboCup Symposium as well as their proposed schedule and required resources.
Team Description Paper
TIGERs Mannheim Extended Team Description for RoboCup 2020– This paper gives a very detailed explanation of the hardwareimprovements made to the team. It gives a clear explanation and also thereasoning for these changes, providing valuable information for otherteams. The paper is also not excessively long, making it easier forreviewers to read it. Each team will have to register, or log in with an already existingaccount, and upload their qualification materials to the site. As part of the qualification procedure, every team must submit a TeamDescription Paper (TDP) or an Extended Team Description Paper (ETDP).
The symposium is planned to be held in person in Bangkok, Thailand, with remote participation options for both presenters and attendees. In addition to the regular track with regular research papers, the development track encourages reports on innovative hardware developments, software frameworks, and open-source releases of software components. A review of papers describing these contributions will be based on technical aspects and benefits to the practice of communities specifically working in RoboCup. The symposium will feature contributed papers reporting innovative, original research with relevance to areas of robotics and artificial intelligence, including a special track focused on systems, data, and benchmarks.
A review ofthese contributions will be based on technical merit and benefits to theRoboCup community, and the research topics listed above. This year we expand the scope of this track to include datasets and benchmarks. If applicable, contributions to the special track should include evidence of the released system or dataset, and highlight past, ongoing, and/or potential impacts on the RoboCup community. Review of these contributions will be based on technical merit and benefits to the RoboCup community and the research topics listed above. We are looking for submissions of papers reporting innovative and original research with relevance to areas of robotics and artificial intelligence.

In addition to the main track with regular research papers there will be a special track focused on systems, data, and benchmarks that will feature papers describing novel, open-source hardware and software systems, as well as datasets and benchmarks relevant to the community. To encourage open-source release of hardware and software systems, the RoboCup International Symposium has included a development track in recent years. In 2024, we expand the scope of this track to include datasets and benchmarks. If applicable, contributions to the special track should include evidence of the released system or dataset, and highlight past, ongoing, and/or potential future impacts on robocup 2014 the RoboCup community. A review of these contributions will be based on technical merit and benefits to the RoboCup community, and the research topics listed above. In 2021, we expand the scope of this track to include datasets and benchmarks.
Call for papers for Robocup 2024 Symposium
All teams intending to participate in Division A must submit an ETDP.Every TDP and ETDP will be reviewed by a panel of peers. Teams thatpresent substandard TDPs and ETDPs will not qualify for the RoboCuptournament. RoboCup is an international scientific initiative with the goal to advance the state of the art of intelligent robots.
The symposium will be held in person atthe Evoluon Conference Center in Eindhoven. In addition to the regular trackwith regular research papers, there is the development track encouragingreports on innovative hardware developments, software frameworks, and open-source releases of software components. A review of papers describing thesecontributions will be based on technical aspects and benefits to the practiceof communities working in the above fields in general and RoboCup inparticular. The 24th RoboCup International Symposium will be held in conjunction with RoboCup 2021 in a purely online setting, from 22 June to 28 June 2021. Within the described scope of topics we also encourage submissions of high-quality overview articles, papers describing real-world research, and papers reporting theoretical results.

The 27th RoboCup International Symposium will be held on 22 July 2024, in conjunction with RoboCup 2024 (15 July to 21 July 2024), in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. We call for submissions of papers reporting innovative, original research with relevance to areas of robotics and artificial intelligence as listed below. Within the described scope of topics, we also encourage submissions of high-quality overview articles, papers describing real-world research, and papers reporting theoretical results. Researchers are invited to submit their work independently of whether they participate in the RoboCup competitions or have a RoboCup team. The symposium will be held in person at the Evoluon Conference Center in Eindhoven.
The program includes three exciting keynote talks, a panel and AMA session on building a research career with RoboCup, and a video-history of 25 years of RoboCup. Cynthia Breazeal is a Professor at the MIT Media Lab where she directs the Personal Robots Group. She also director of the MIT initiative on Responsible AI for Social Empowerment and Education (RAISE) and is MIT Dean of Digital Learning.
The proceedings of the RoboCup International Symposium will be published and archived within the Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence (LNCS/LNAI) series by Springer after the conference. While the junior teams arrived today, the senior teams were playing there last practice matches.
